音楽家・青葉市子さんのお衣装をつくりました。

 

いくつかの言葉と、出来立てほやほやの音のかけらを、スタジオで聴かせてもらいながら作り上げました。彼女と長年時間を過ごしてきた薄桜色のワンピースの上へ、おまじないをかけるように。貝殻のようにまばゆく偏光する箔で、新たな光を当てました。

I made the costume for the musician Ichiko Aoba.
I created it while listening to a few words and bits of freshly made sound in her studio. It was like casting a spell over the light cherry-coloured one-piece dress in which had spent so many years with her. I shone a new light on it with a dazzling polarising foil like a seashell.
